Zusammenfassung: | Objective: We investigated the long-term results after SSG for stenotic anal fissure.Method: Of 198 cases of SSG for stenotic anal fissure, a questionnaire survey and a manometric anal pressure test were conducted on 141 cases for 5 years, 75 cases for 10 years, and 18 healthy persons of the same generation. Results: Patient satisfaction was 94% or higher for both men and women, and the recurrence rate was 2.6% for men and 5.9% for women, but all cases improved with defecation control. Symptoms such as gas leak and stool leak were within the acceptable range. Although anal function, especially anal canal resting pressure, decreased, there was no significant difference compared with the decrease rate in healthy cases. Conclusion: This SSG method is a useful surgical procedure with a low recurrence rate and a high patient satisfaction, with an anal pressure reduction rate similar to that of a healthy person in the long term. |
