Zusammenfassung:Although cases of rectal foreign bodies are also found among the elderly aged 80 and older, the present patient is the oldest with a sexual motive. The foreign body in this case was a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle characteristically modeled after the female figure which we could remove by a transanal approach without anesthesia. An 85-year-old man presented with a rectal foreign body of a perfume bottle. The foreign body was barely palpable digitally at approximately 10cm above the anal verge. Proctoscopy, plain abdominal radiograph and CT showed a foreign body having a narrow intermediate part and some contents in it situated in the pelvic cavity. We could extract the foreign body by pressing it manually from the abdominal wall with the help of an index finger in the rectum correcting the direction of the foreign body. The foreign body was a PET bottle of 20cm in length and up to a maximum of 7 cm in width. It was shaped like a woman's body and its narrow intermediate part indicated the waistline. Habitual cases of foreign bodies among elderly patients may increase in future. As well as risk instruction, sometimes we might need to approve the safe usage of foreign bodies.
