Baenema showed small multiple ulcers of the entire colon. Predonisolone was not effective and he suddenly falled into hemorrhagic shook due to massive colonic bleeding. An emergency laparotomy revealed diffuse reddness on the entire colonic serosa. We performed subtotal colectomy followed by ileostomy and sigmoid mucous fistula. The almost mucosa was occupied by multiple ulcers and in- flammatory polyps. Histopathological diagnosis was indeterminate colitis. The patients followed unexpected course was died of multiple organ failure.
