Zusammenfassung: | 223 patients, who received curative resection for right colon cancer, were selected for this study to evaluate the significance of lymph node dissection. The overall metastatic rate was 30.9%, Positive lymph node involvement depended on the histological type. The metastatic rate was 26.3% in patients with well-differentiated adenocarcinoma, 41.5% in moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma, 50.0% in pooly-differantiated adenocarcinoma and 37.5% in mucinous carcinoma. No positive lymph node was noted in patients with tumor located in m. sm, or pm. Positive lymph node involvement was observed in 28.5% of the patients with tumor located in ss, 43.5% in se, and 53.8% in si. Skip metastatis of the lymph node was observed in 13.9%. The incidence of lymph node metastatis was high in the patients who had tumor invasion to the serosa and who had moderately-or poorly-differentiated adenocarcinoma, and right hemicolectomy with radical lymph node dissection was required for these patients. |
