Zusammenfassung:We recently encountered a rear case of synchronous multiple cancers of the colon. A 58-year-old female was admitted to our hospital complaining of anal bleeding. Endoscopic observation showed a polypid lesion with irregular surface and a Borrmann 2 like lesion in the sigmoid colon. Barium enema showed elevated lesions in the sigmoid colon and the transverse colon, deformity of the wall in the sigmoid colon, the descending colon and the transverse colon suspecting synchronous multiple cancers of the colon. Sub-total colectomy was performed. Histology of the resected sigmoid colon specimem revealed the well differentiated adenocarcinoma infiltrated the serosal layer and tubular adenoma with moderate atypia. Histology of the resected descending colon specimem revealed the well differentiated adenocarcinoma infiltrated the serosal layer, tubular adenoma with mild atypia and carcinoma in adenoma infiltrated the mucosal layer. Histology of the resected transverse colon specimem revealed the well differentiated adenocarcinoma infiltrated the serosal layer, tubular adenoma with mild to moderate atypia and carcinoma in tubulovillous adenoma infiltrated the sub-mucosal layer. therefore, we diagnosed the case as synchronous five multiple cancers of the colon.
