Zusammenfassung:In this paper, we report a case of papillary and branched growth squamous cell carcinoma in situ of the anal canal. A51- year-old woman was admitted to our hospital complaining of anal bleeding. On digital examination and anal-scopy of her anal canal, a polypoid lesion was found. By biopsy, it was judged to be a squamous cell carcinoma. Transanal resection was performed. The resected tissue was examined histologically, and was found to be a poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma in situ mainly consisting of basaloid cell growing papilliform. A squamous cell carcinoma in side of the anal canal is rarely reported rare and the growth form is a special feature. Morphologically and histologically this case seems to be quite interesting.
