Zusammenfassung: | A 52-year-old man, who suffering from car accident with contusion in the left lower abdomen, and complained lower abdominal pain, low grade fever and abdominal distention. Laboratory study revealed only CRP (1+). Apple-core shadow defect in babrium enema was found 1 1/2 months later after injury. Under suspicion of stenosis or carcinoma of the sigmoid colon, a sigmoidectomy was performed. Pathological examination revealed it as inflammatory reaction. Sigmoid-colon mesenteric panniculitis due to traumatic injury was considered in this case. |
