Zusammenfassung:Two new species of the genus Rhynchobombyx Aurivillius, 1909 (type-species Rhynchobombyx nasuta Aurivillius, 1909): Rhynchobombyx levi sp. n. from Tanzania, Malawi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Zimbabwe, and South Africa; and Rhynchobombyx maddox sp. n. from Angola are described. Rhynchobombyx nasuta Aurivillius, 1909 is recorded for the first time for Central African Republic. The new species are compared with all known species of the genus.
