Zusammenfassung:Due to its universal availability and easy workability, woodworking is naturally one of the oldest and longest-developing human skills in material craftsmanship. Over the past millennia and centuries, the craftsmanship of woodworking has continuously developed and, over time, differentiated and specialized into individual disciplines. One of them is construction joinery, a field that stands in many ways between carpentry and furniture joinery. This paper deals with the process and possibilities of transferring construction joinery and its individual aspects to the museum environment and its musealization.
