Zusammenfassung:After introducing the novel The Adventures of Leucippe and Clitophon by Achilles Tatius, the ancient novelist who is not well known in Hungary, the author analyses the most important critical remarks that have come up in the international essays referring to the novel. Eventually this essay offers a new solution to the very special problem of why the narrative frame is missing at the end, after Tatius started his novel using a framed structure.
