Zusammenfassung:The purpose of the article is to analyze the subjective assessments of entrepreneurs regardingimplemented control procedures in the context of the reform of control and supervision activities.Research Methods. The methods used in the article are analysis, synthesis, description, classification, as wellas special sociological methods.The results of the study. The authors conducted a sociological study that substantiated the need to improveexisting indicators for assessing the control and supervision activities’ impact on the functioning of small andmedium-sized enterprises. The article substantiates such barriers to reforming control and supervisionactivities as the volume of unscheduled inspections, insufficient information transparency, and legal illiteracyof business.
