Zusammenfassung:Introduction: Male infertility refers to the inability of a man of reproductive age to achieve pregnancy in a fertile woman. Our objective was to describe the biological and sonographic aspects of male infertility at the Yaoundé Central Hospital. Methods: This was a descriptive study with prospective data collection. It took place in the Urology Department of the Central Hospital of Yaoundé over a period of 9 months from October 2020 to June 2021.Results: We studied 67 patients. Of patients, 67.16% had a spermogram abnormality. FSH was elevated in 38.8% of patients. Sonographically, varicocele and testicular abnormality were found in 46.3% and 40.3% of patients respectively. Conclusion: At the end of this study, oligospermia and asthenospermia are the most common biologic abnormalities. Varicocele and testicular hypotrophy remain the most frequent ultrasound anomalies.
