Zusammenfassung:The study focused on enhancing a movable rotating plate type grading device for potatoes, prioritizing safety and weight reduction. By optimizing the body frame and movable rotating plate using ANSYS Workbench 2022, a static analysis was conducted to confirm compliance with design requirements for strength and deformation. The optimized frame experienced a remarkable 32.3% weight reduction. Additionally, the direct optimization module of ANSYS Workbench 2022 was employed to lighten the movable rotating plate, resulting in a 22.86% reduction in the total mass of the device. This research serves as an invaluable reference for the structural design and optimization analysis of potato grading devices.
