Matrix Metallopeptidase 9 Expression in Tumoral and Marginal Tissues of Cholesteatoma

Background: Cholesteatoma, a serious, expanding otolaryngologic condition, is challenging to otolaryngologists worldwide. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the expression of MMP-9 gene in cholesteatoma patients. Methods: In this study, 40 samples of tumor tissue and 40 samples as control of tumor margins of patients with cholesteatoma were examined.
