Zusammenfassung:Road traffic injuries are one of the most important and serious causes of unnatural death in India. Two-wheelers, especially motorcycle accidents contribute significantly in this regard. In order to avoid accidents and consequent losses, emphasis should be given on safe riding. Besides the condition of the vehicle, the road surface, willingness to adhere to safety regulations, body balance is a key factor in safe riding two-wheelers in order to avoid meeting with accidents of different consequences. In this backdrop, the study was aimed to assess whether there is any differences in body balances between the Bengalee adult male motorcyclists and similar individuals who do not know how to ride a motorcycle. 41 consenting individuals, among which 25 motorcylcists and 16 indivuals who do not know to ride motorcycle, were participated in the study. Anthropometric measurements were carried out using standard procedures and tools. Body balances tests like timed up and go and single limb step test along with visuo-tactile reaction time test were performed. Statistical package R 4.3.0 was used for statistical analysis.
