Zusammenfassung:A new method of strain sensing using the stress-magnetoresistance (MR) effect was investigated. In thisstudy, an Ni87Fe13 (at.%) alloy film with in negative magnetostriction and a magnetive MR effect was used for strainsensing. The resistance increased with increasing compressive stress and decreased with increasing tensile stress. A gas pressure sensor was demonstrated using the film.
