Zusammenfassung:The chalcogenides of 4 - and 5 - component system viz. PbBi1-x Mo2-x, Te2-ySe2-z, Pb2Bi1-x Mo1-x,Te2-y Se2-z Pb2-Bi4-xTe3-y Se4-z and PbBi5-x Te3-y Se4-z have been prepared at 900°C. These compounds crystallize into orthorhombic symmetry. The chemical compositions of these materials are confirmed by EDX. Resistivity studies showed these compounds are semiconducting.
