Zusammenfassung:As producers of native plant seeds, we contacted similar businesses, asked them questions about expanding their cultivated production of native plant seeds, and incorporated their responses with our observations to provide a "seed producers' opinion" on what is limiting native plant seed production in the western US and Canada. Here, we report the results of this survey and discuss common problems associated with wildland seed production from public lands and subsequent sale to the federal government.
