Zusammenfassung: | The present study aims to determine the effect of family-centered care training on the care pressure of children's parents. This quasi-experimental study was conducted with a sample of 60 participants, selected using a non-random sampling method, and divided into two groups: intervention and control. The participants in the intervention group received five weekly sessions of family-centered training, each lasting 40-60 minutes, based on the theory of meaningful learning. A total of 60 participants were in this study. The average care pressure in the control group before and after the intervention was 97.10 (SD=6.72) and 97.70 (SD=6.72), respectively. In the intervention group, the average care pressure before and after the intervention was 101.37 (SD=5.29) and 82.07 (SD=3.75), respectively. The results indicated no significant difference between the control and intervention groups before the intervention (P=0.06).
