Produzione di parquet a partire da legname di castagno proveniente da boschi cedui del Sud delle Alpi | Production of parquet flooring using chestnut timber from coppices in southern Switzerland

This study verified the opportunity of using graded chestnut timber collected in two coppice forests from the southern side of the Swiss Alps for the production of friezes(row flooring boards) and parquet. Therefore data provided along the chain of production, considering both processing yields and rejects, were collected; and on the same time the technical feasibility of producing these products was also evaluated.
