On 100 000-year rhythmicity in geodynamics and paleoclimate

The 100 000-year rhythmicity in paleoclimate variations in the Quaternary can be associated with the respective oscillations in insolation and seafloor volcanism forced by Solar-Moon gravitation (SMG). This conclusion is based on the wavelet analysis of long time series of the variations in the ecce...

Zusammenfassung:The 100 000-year rhythmicity in paleoclimate variations in the Quaternary can be associated with the respective oscillations in insolation and seafloor volcanism forced by Solar-Moon gravitation (SMG). This conclusion is based on the wavelet analysis of long time series of the variations in the eccentricity of the Earth’s orbit, different paleoclimatic characteristics, and the existing spectral estimates of variations in SMG and seafloor volcanism.
