Zusammenfassung:This paper presents the experimental performance test results for the measuring technique of fibrous object orientation in 3D space based on digital holography. The technique consists of two steps: one is to detect the candidates of object position in 3D space with Sobel operator, and the other is to cluster them for each fibrous object with a self-organizing algorithm. Experiments are carried out using the observation system with an electronic camera and carbon fibers, in order to demonstrate the feasibility in real measurement of fibrous object orientation in 3D space. The experimental measurement results show that the error in depth angle and the standard deviation of detected position in depth are evaluated to be less than 7.9deg and 0.27mm, respectively.
