Zusammenfassung:In this paper, a 4D data resulting from a simulation of proton-hydrogen atom collision was visualized by using three different visualization methods and the collision dynamics was studied extensively. For deeper understanding of the collision dynamics, it is important to understand clearly the behavior of an electron during the collision, particularly as a proton get closer to a target atom. However, it is rather difficult to carry out the direct observation of the collision by experimental means. In order to visualize the charge distribution, the three visualization techniques are employed: (i) for a global semitranslucent view by using the volume ray-casting method, (ii) for a local view by using the isosurfacing method, and (iii) for further analysis by using the interval volume extraction. A hybrid usage of visualizations is found to be very useful for the analysis of the collision dynamics.
