Zusammenfassung: | Experiments were conducted to investigate the combustion process in a disk-shaped constant volume chamber (100mm diameter and 30 mm thickness). The gas inside the chamber was the mixture of Methane and Air (101.3kPa) and the gas was ignited at the condition of swirl flow as well as stationariness. The deflaglation wave was visualized using a high-speed camera (4.500 FPS) with the aid of Schlieren optics. As a result, the turbulent process of the flame front was observed in detail and the high-speed video camera was useful to investigate the propagation of the flame front. |
