Zusammenfassung: | A slip stream emanating from a triple point in Mach reflection of a shock wave forms a high-speed mixing layer. In the present paper, the Mach reflection of a moving shock wave from a wedge surface has been visualized by the shadowgraph method, and, paying attention to the slip stream, the effect of Reynolds number on the transition from laminar to turbulent mixing layers and the growth rate of a fully developed turbulent mixing layer with a large difference in velocity have been studied experimentally. |
