Zusammenfassung:With a view to reducing CO2 emissions and improving maintainability, a long-life PC bridge with low environmental impact has been developed by combining high-strength, low-shrinkage concrete that does not use cement(hereinafter referred to as “Sustaincrete”)and rust-proof aramid FRP rods. The Sustaincrete developed ultra-high strength of 150 MPa at 6 days of age by accelerated curing with steam, and loading tests performed on test beams showed that fl exural behavior and shear strength can be evaluated by the same methods as those employed for ordinary high-strength fi ber reinforced concrete. This paper reports on a series of studies covering the development and in-plant manufacture of Sustaincrete reinforced with short fi bers, the installation and structural verifi cation of pretensioned girders, and monitoring.
