Zusammenfassung:In the present study, monotonic tension tests and low cycle fatigue tests were performed on aluminum alloy EN AW-2024-T3 under various operating temperatures. The results were assessed in order to determine the Bauschinger effect in the aluminum alloy under elevated temperatures. Findings of monotonic tests served as a basis to compare the influence of temperature on mechanical properties of the material. The results of the cyclic tests were used to determine the Bauschinger effect. Finally, the changes in the presence of the effect at various testing temperatures were presented.
