Zusammenfassung: | This report is a result of actual survey of axis line for the entrance path of Zenko-ji Temple. Datum of survey are length and angle of line segments which form the entrance path. This survey clarifies as follows: 1) Sanmon Gate is located at the middle point between Hondo building and the site of demolished old Kitano-mon Gate, 2) Length between Hondo Building and the site of old Kitano-mon Gate is just same with those between the site of demolished old Nyorai-do Building and the site of demolished old Niten-mon Gate, 3) Almost all angles between line segments which form the entrance path are almost same, and so on. From these results I consider hypotheses about how to decide the site of the present Hondo Building. |
