Zusammenfassung:To improve disaster prevention performance of wooden densely inhabited district without large-scale urban development, authors are researching and developing The simultaneous seismic & fire-resistive reinforcement. Effectiveness of the reinforcement for the reduction of post-earthquake urban fire hazard is studied using the building data from a historic still crowded “bed town” near Tokyo through the BRI urban fire simulator. From the analysis in consideration of past research1), it was found that the reinforcement has the possibility of efficiently reducing danger of post-earthquake urban fire hazard.
