China and Russia in the life of the revolutionary Li Lisan

Li Lisan was a prominent figure from the early years of the CPC, an important functionary of the PRC and a victim of the Cultural Revolution. His Russian wife, Yelizaveta Kishkina, lived more than 100 years and left memoirs about their life together from the mid-1930s until their arrest in 1967. The memoirs contain much valuable information on the history of China, the Soviet Union and modern Russia, on the relationship between the two countries at different periods of the 20th century.
