Activity of authorized representatives of the Council for Religious Affairs under the Council of Ministers of the USSR in the national autonomies of Siberia (on the example of the Khakass Autonomous Region)

Control over compliance with the legislation on cults in the Khakass Autonomous Region was carried out by representatives of the Council for Religious Affairs in the Krasnoyarsk Territory under the Council of Ministers of the USSR. They were actively assisted by officials from regional authorities and commissions created under the executive committees on a voluntary basis. The study was conducted on the materials of the State Archives of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the National Archives of the Republic of Khakassia.
