Zusammenfassung:An abnormal, electrophoretically slow-moving hemoglobin was found in the hemolysate of a Hungarian patient under medical investigation for nephrolithiasis and mild anemia. Detailed study of the abnormal component showed it to be Hb Agenogi ( beta 90(F6)Glu arrow right Lys). This is the first description of the occurrence of this rare variant in a Central European population.
