Zusammenfassung:The paper describes a test workbench and its automation for studying a heat generator based on the Taylor–Couette flow between independently rotating multi-cylinder rotors. The technique of analyzing the spectra of pulsations of the drag force torque induced by the rotation of the heat generator rotors was used to study the flow structure. We present the techniques for recording the generated heat power and studying the frequency characteristics of flow inhomogeneities in a fluid located in cylindrical clearance spaces with moving walls. The developed equipment and measurement techniques made it possible to obtain experimental data on the influence of the operating modes of the heat generator and the parameters of the working fluid on the process of generating thermal energy.
