Zusammenfassung:A method of simulation of interturn faults in a stator winding in steady state operating conditions of synchronous condenser is proposed. The method is based on a mathematical model with the equations of the mesh current method for phase-to-phase voltages. Expressions for active and reactive impedances of the windings are presented. The initial data for calculation of resistance and reactance of stator and rotor windings are obtained experimentally. Experiments proved that the proposed method simulates interturn faults in a stator winding with a maximum error of 5–10%.
