Zusammenfassung: | The dependence of the shape of irregularities on the scale and type of machining has been studied for machined surfaces. Changes in shape are estimated using the skewness and kurtosis of the distributions of irregularity angles. The angles were measured using the data on the intensity of second electron emission. It has been found that the differences in the shape of irregularities for various methods of machining become less pronounced as the dimensions of the irregularities decrease. The conclusion has been drawn that machined surfaces do not possess fractal properties. |
