Using water and organic solvents in extraction processes: A review

The molecular interactions in binary systems consisting of water and organic solvent are considered. The use of water with organic solvents in the extraction and purification of organic materials in the coke, oil, and chemical industries is reviewed, in Russia and elsewhere.
