Zusammenfassung:The techniques which allow forecasting structural peculiarities of vibrational and vibro-impact modes in machine-building and other mechanical structures with a large number of degrees of freedom were studied by means of direct analysis of the measured dynamic characteristics of models based on the experimentally obtained parameters of the analyzed systems and processes, e.g., dynamic compliances, rigidities, Green’s functions, etc. Moreover, it sometimes turns out that the use of the measured dynamic characteristics is much more efficient than using the equations of motion. Such an approach is particularly interesting when investigating real objects rather than mathematical models. The methods for forecasting vibrational fields in real constructions are presented below. The analysis was performed for linear and strongly nonlinear (vibro-impact) cases.
