Zusammenfassung:This work was aimed at investigating the primary reactions of plant cell metabolism in response to salt stress. It was found that the phospholipase D regulatory enzyme is activated in wild-type and transgenic cax1 tobacco plants during the early stages of the influence of salt stress. We have shown that a disturbance in the intracellular homeostasis of calcium ions and oppression of phospholipase D activity decrease the resistance of tobacco plants under the influence of salinity and also indicate the involvement of such systems in signaling during stress adaptation of plants.
