Zusammenfassung:It is shown that Y 2 O 3 , YF 3 , LaF 3 , and CeF 3 help concentrate 90 Y from seawater. To determine 90 Sr, YF 3 is the best reagent because the effect of interfering lead and thorium radioisotopes is minimum in this case. It is proposed to preconcentrate 210 Bi on PbS to eliminate its interference. To determine 90 Sr we measure the Cherenkov radiation of 90 Y concentrated on YF 3 without prior elution.
