The cytogenetic analysis of all the hybrids among these species indicates that they have the same basic genome. In a previous paper the genomic formulas of T. caerulea and T. grandiflora were designated as CC and CgCg respectively. We propose CcCc for T. candida because it has a homeologous genome with the other species and C¹C¹ for T. caerulea var. surinamensis.
