Zusammenfassung: | T. candida Arbo, T. grandiflora (Urban) Arbo, T. caerulea DC. and T. caerulea var. surinamensis (Urb.) Arbo & A. Fernández nov. comb., all 2n=2x=10, were crossed to investigate their cytogenetic relationships. All the hybrids had 2n=2x=10 with a high mean of bivalents (4.92-5) and a low mean of ring bivalents (1.66-3.60). The cytogenetic analysis of all the hybrids among these species indicates that they have the same basic genome. In a previous paper the genomic formulas of T. caerulea and T. grandiflora were designated as CC and CgCg respectively. We propose CcCc for T. candida because it has a homeologous genome with the other species and C¹C¹ for T. caerulea var. surinamensis. |
