Zusammenfassung: | A case of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)with a remarkable peliotic change was reported. The patient was a 59-year-old male with cirrhosis. Ultrasonography detected a tumor, 3cm in diameter, in the right hepatic lobe. Amorphous vascular pooling on the hepatic angiogram and remarkable highintensity on the magnetic resonace(MR)T2-weighted image highly suggested hepatic cavernous hemangioma. However, a crescent-shaped minor part of the tumor was also recognized on the MR image. The minor part revealed iso-intensity on the T1-weighted image and moderately high-intensity on the T2-weighted image. These findings suggested the diagnosis of HCC. Partial hepatectomy was carried out. Histologically the tumor consisted of two parts of HCC with different histologic features. The major part of the tumor was HCC with a remarkable dilated sinusoid-like structure simulating peliosis hepatis, Conversely, such findings were not significant in the crescent-shaped minor part of the tumor. |
