Zusammenfassung: | We reported a case of primary malignant lymphoma of the liver with ascaris lumbricoides Linnaeus and this case was a follicular variant of intermediate lymphocytic lymphoma (mantle-zone lymphoma) postulated by Weisenburger et al. Ultrasonogram showed an echogenic tumor which contained a calcification. Hepatic arteriogram showed a slight tumor staining. These pattern were atypical in malignant lymphoma of the liver and might be affected by the inflammation by ascaris lumbricoides Linnaeus. Atypical small lymphoid cells proliferated around atrophic germinal centers and a diffuse pattern of involvement also existed around it. A calcification was seen around ascaris lumbricoides Linnaeus in the intrahepatic bile duct which was in the center of the tumor. The chronic inflammation by ascaris lumbricoides Linnaeus might induce malignant lymphoma of the liver. |
