Zusammenfassung: | A case of 54 year-old man of malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH) of the liver was reported. The patient consulted a physician with a complaint of body weight loss. HBs-antigen was negative, and serum AFP, CEA and CA19-9 were within normal limits. An abdominal CT scan disclosed 8×7cm low density area in posterior superior segrnent. Celiac arteriogram revealed hypovascularity. Right posterior segmentectomy with partial resection of anteiror inferior segment and right diaphragm, and cannulation of right hepatic artery were performed. Microscopically, the tumor cell were composed of spindle fibroblastic cells and pleomorphic cells simulating histiocytes. He died of tumor peritoneal dessemination and lung metastases on the 60th day after the operation, MFH of the liver is very rare and only seven cases have previously been reported in the literature. The problems on the diagnosis and treatment of MFH of the liver were emphasized. |
