Zusammenfassung: | Establishment of high risk group for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) was developed by analyses of common clinical data obtained when diagnosis of liver cirrhosis (LC) was confirmed. Sixty-one histologically proven cirrhotic patients were retrospectively divided into two groups: Group 1, 20 cases complicating HCC during more than one year follow up after the diagnosis of LC, Group 2, 41 cases alived more than 3 years without complicating HCC. Discriminant function for differentiating above-mentioned two groups was derived using the theory of quantification. Employing this function, correct differentiation was made in 36 out of 41 cases (87.8%) of LC and 19 out of 20 cases (95.0%) of HCC. Among parameters, the sex, LDH, GOT/GPT and history of both alcohol consumption and blood transfusion contributed greatly to the differentiation. |
