Zusammenfassung: | A 51 year old male presenting with marked hepatomegaly and laboratory data suggestive of metastatic liver carcinoma, is described. Amyloid deposition in the liver was uneven, the right lobe was affected more severely than the left lobe which was hypertrophied and showed only mild deposition. Liver scan mimicked multiple defects (false positive) and angiographic changes were compatible with different degree of amyloid deposition and compensatory hypertrophy of the left lobe. |
