Zusammenfassung:A journal club is a regular gathering of researchers or scientists to discuss a scientific paper found in a research journal. One or two members of the club present a summary of the chosen paper the whole group has read. It can be used to facilitate an evidence-based approach to problem solving, as a tool to inform the development of guidelines, and to enable sharing of information related to clinical issues.The objective of this survey was to assess the effectiveness of evidence based journal club conducted among postgraduates by faculties of medical, dental, Ayurveda colleges affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) in Hassan District. In this observational, cross-sectional study, structured questionnaires were randomly distributed to the faculty. A total of 405 faculties participated, among which 60 were dental, 270 were medical and 75 were from Ayurveda colleges. Results showed a positive correlation between attitude plus knowledge and practice among health care professionals.
