Research on the Construction of Omni-Media Communication System and the Enhancement of International Communication Ability from the Perspective of Communicative Theory

While current research is increasingly focused on the issue of the omni-media communication system and international communication, the relationship between the two is less explored. From the perspective of communicative theory, this paper argues that omni-media, as a new production tool, has achieved a profound change in communication relations and is conducive to promoting international communication ability. The omni-media communication system with the features of diversified subjects, mediated platforms, and integrated contents, helps present a different form of international communication. Based on the analysis of the compatibility between the two, it is suggested that the future construction of the omni-media communication system should pay attention to the international interaction among diversified subjects, the application of technology in the fields of autonomous and controllable platform construction and omni-media participation in global governance under platform-mediated, as well as the production of “repoliticized” issues and national issues under the context of content integration.
