Zusammenfassung:It is the purpose of this paper to examine this subject of handling qualities, defining first the dynamic system and discussing its constituent elements. Next, some historical perspective is introduced to illustrate that the quest for good handling has continued to be a challenge of substantial proportions from the Wright Brothers' beginning to the present day. The most modern methods of evaluating handling qualities place heavy emphasis on simulation and evaluation through experiment.
