A Case Report of Molar Endocrown Restoration by Using KDU Endocrown Bur Set

An endocrown prosthesis can be utilized in tooth restoration with minimal invasion. However, the preparation of the abutment tooth for an endocrown differs from that for a conventional crown, making it difficult to achieve ideal preparation using commonly available diamond burs. Therefore, we have developed diamond burs (KDU Endocrown Bur Set) specifically designed for endocrown preparation. This paper reports the utilization of the KDU Endocrown Bur Set to perform minimally invasive preparation for a molar endocrown restoration.
